CLUB FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

Who is the Caledonian Club of Sacramento?

We are a social club, open to all persons, who enjoy things Scottish. The Club is a 501 (c) (3) not-for profit organization that does all the things that social clubs do, we have regular meetings, social gatherings and of course organize and present the Sacramento Valley Scottish Game and Gathering.

 

Who can join?

Anyone interested in things Scottish.

 

How much does it cost to join?

The membership year is January to December, and dues are as follows: $50 a year for a family and $40 a year for an individual. A membership form is available here.

 

Who ‘runs’ the Club?

The members ‘run’ the Club, electing a Board of Directors, annually, who are charged with managing the Club and its business and activities.

 

How often are there meetings?

The Club Membership Meetings are held, in the evening, each month except August and December. Club Board Meetings are announced on the calendar and both are open to members and guests alike. Besides a business meeting, we have a social and possibly a program at each Members Meeting. Announcements are made on the calendar.

 

How can I find a piper to play for me?

Where can I rent a kilt?
